A meeting was held with representatives of sports associations operating onPlatak

On Friday, November 11, 2022, in the meeting hall of the Administrative Department for Culture, Sports and Technical Culture of PGŽ in Ciottana Street in Rijeka, the second meeting of representatives of sports associations that conduct organized winter sports training in Platka was held with representatives of the competent county department, the director of GSC and head of RSRTC Platak.

The topic of the meeting was the constructive and commendable proposals for improving cooperation collected in the conclusion of the previous meeting signed by the clubs Nine, Mali Mrav and SkiGuru, and supported by the members of the Rijeka Ski Club.

Among the requests are more frequent, more concrete and timely exchange of information between the GSC and the associations, as well as meetings that should become a regular practice before and at the end of the season. In the future, the associations also hope for the possibility of securing the necessary infrastructure and space for the organized work of the associations operating in Platak.

In addition to the laudable investment in the construction of a new cable car, representatives of the associations pointed out the need for the immediate renovation of the existing infrastructure on Platko, considering the scope of use and the conditions to which the equipment is exposed, especially the Radeševo ​​conveyor belt. One of the proposals is to cover the conveyor belts, which would extend the service life, reduce maintenance costs and enable operation even in conditions of stronger wind and snow.
