The end of the winter season on Platko
With the weekend ahead of us, Platak will step into the spring-summer season.
The winter season on Platak took place periodically from November when the first snow fell, which opened the sledding season, while this year we started skiing a little later, only in mid-January, when the first conditions were met, but in full format! Natural snow made it possible to open all the trails at least on a few weekends this season. Although the number of days is shorter, we can say that one of the most successful seasons so far is behind us.
In addition to daytime skiing and sledding, on Tuesdays and Fridays, when the weather permitted, night skiing and day-night skiing took place on Thursdays. In addition to our regular activities, we hosted several excellent sports events that started with the European Ski Bike race, continued with the children's Cro Ski Cup for younger ages and the Carnival Snowboard Session, then with an interesting competition that connected the sea and the mountains, the Galeb Snipe & Ski Race, and the first Primorje-Gorski Ski & Snowboard Festival and the Croatian Cup in Skiing and Snowboarding. All in all, behind Platak is one of the best winter seasons.
For this excellent result, we would like to thank you, our visitors who faithfully visited Platak, the employees who did their best, as well as our partners who daily contributed to the positive perception of Platak - the County Road Administration, which took care of the passability of the road to Platak, HGSS, restaurateurs, ski schools, organizers of events, the media who regularly followed our work as well as our founders for the trust shown, and above all the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County without whose investment this development of Platka would not have been possible.
From tomorrow we turn to the spring-summer season where we invite you all together again to our favorite hill, equally beautiful and interesting in every season, with numerous interesting contents and opportunities for recreation and fun!
