Elfyn Evans winner of the third WRC Croatia Rally

Elfyn Evans in Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 is the winner of the third edition of the WRC Croatia Rally which is scored in the standings for the World Rally Championship. After 20 speed tests on different terrains in five Croatian counties with a total length of 301.26 kilometers, Evans celebrated with a result of 2:50:543.

The second day of competition at the WRC Croatia Rally connected Karlovac County and Gorski Kotar and brought a dramatic turnaround in the leading position. Thierry Neuville, who had been leading until then, dropped out after the speed test on the Skrad-Ravna Gora section, which was run for the first time this year, and Evans took the lead. A challenging section Gornje Jelenje - Platak, 15,6 kilometers long and this time it was the end point in the territory of our county, which Evans and his co-driver Martin did a great job and further increased their advantage to 22.6 seconds ahead of second-placed Estonian Otto Tanak. They kept their leading position until the very end.

The Goran sports center was actively involved in the organization this year as well and provided full technical support to the organizers of the WRC Croatia Rally.
