Sports Recreation Association PGŽ "Sport for All", in cooperation with the Croatian Olympic Committee, Sports Association PGŽ organizes the Sports Recreation Festival, which will be held in our county this summer as well.
The activities will begin with the celebration of the International Olympic Day in Platka on Saturday 3. June, and on this occasion the Goran sports center in Platka will organize Open door day.
Visitors to the Open Day will be able to enjoy entertainment from Platka's rich offer, such as tubing, trampolines, bicycles and pedal cars, disc golf, or the rental of sports fields with special discounts! The price of daily tickets will be 10 € for adults, respectively 7,50 € for children up to 12 years and people with disabilities. The rental of barbecue places and picnic areas is not part of this offer.
The Red Cross Society of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County will join the commemoration of the International Olympic Day with activities for voluntary blood donors, as well as the Kvarner Athletic Club with athletics programs for children.
Lovers of outdoor activities will be able to enjoy Nordic walking and hiking throughout the summer, and August is reserved for the already well-known All Faces of Platka event. The Sports Face of Platka is scheduled for August 19, and the Vertical Face of Platka on August 27, while the Sports Recreation Festival will appropriately conclude the celebration of the Croatian Olympic Day on September 10.
