Successful technical inspection of the new cable car

Today, the technical inspection of the new cable car was successfully completed on Platak, one of the last administrative steps before its opening.

Platak will start this winter season with a new four-seater worth approximately 4,8 million euros (HRK 33 million), the largest investment in the history of the ski resort, which was fully financed and implemented by the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County through the Goranski Sports Center.

The Goran sports center has submitted a request for the issuance of a use permit for the new Radeševo 2 cable car and accompanying facilities. Representatives of investors, designers, supervisory engineers, representatives of all contractors in the construction and furnishing process, and representatives of public law bodies participated in the technical review.

"Technically it passed, the only thing we have to submit is the report on the additional tests of electrical installations, panic lighting and lightning protection installations that we did. This is followed by an inspection of the cable car by an authorized company in order to obtain a license for the cable car to operate and, of course, a ceremonial opening", said the director of the Goran sports center Alen Udovič.

The construction of the four-seater Radeševo 2 was contracted with the consortium of bidders Strucon and Bartholet Maschinenbau. The new cable car is 800 meters long, has 114 chairs, some of which are equipped with bike racks.
