The third edition of the international Skibike competition has been announced

For the third year in a row, Platak will host the international event "3rd European Skibike Cup", which will be held on January 27 and 28, 2024, was announced today at a press conference held at the headquarters of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

The two-day event, which combines skiing and cycling, is held under the auspices of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in cooperation with the Tourist Board of Kvarner, the Croatian Tourist Board and the Tourist Board of Čavle Municipality.

The head of the Board of Directors for Culture, Sports and Technical Culture spoke about the race Sonja Sisic, Head of the Board of Directors for Tourism, Entrepreneurship and Rural Development Alessandra Ban, director of the Kvarner Tourist Board Irena Persic Zivadinov, director of the Goran sports center Alen Udovič, president of the Skibike Croatia club Jure Lucic and secretary of the Club Rene Jerončić.

About 27 competitors from 70 countries, including Austria, Greece, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, and the USA, are expected to participate in the race, which will take place on Saturday, January 15. With two races and a rich accompanying program, the news is that all interested visitors will have the opportunity to try ski bikes the day after the race, on Sunday, January 28.
