14th Carnival Snowboard Session on February 16 in Platka
On Sunday, February 16th, a snowboard competition will be held at the bottom of the Radeševo slope – the 14th Carnival Snowboard Session.
The program begins at 11:00 a.m., while the official opening of the competition will take place at 12:00 p.m. The final rounds begin at 14:00 p.m., and the announcement of the winner is scheduled for 16:00 p.m.
Competition Carnival Snowboard Session, started in the center of Rijeka, and for the third year in a row it is being held in the snowboard park in Platak. This attractive event will once again bring together top competitors from Croatia and the region, who will compete in children's, junior and senior categories, in both men's and women's competitions.
The competition will take place in the discipline slope style, which will be a real treat for the audience and an ideal opportunity for the contestants to show their skills and creativity. Various elements will be placed on the track where the competitors will perform spectacular tricks and acrobatics. Judges will evaluate technical skills, creativity, style and jump height to select the best in each category.
This prestigious competition will also be official Primorje-Gorski Kotar county championship in snowboarding, with a prize fund of €1.000,00.
The Carnival Snowboard Session has existed since 2008 and is organized by Snowboard club Nine, with the support of Rijeka Tourist Board, Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Kvarner Tourist Board, Čavle Municipality Tourist Board, Goran Sports Center, Ski Association of Primorje-Gorski County.
