Winter on Platak: Snowfall has begun

Platak, a favorite coastal ski resort and recreation center, is preparing for the new winter season.

Cannons for snow production began to work in order to ensure conditions for skiing, snowboarding and sledding and the start of the new winter season in conditions of insufficient amounts of natural snow.

If everything goes according to plan, and of course if the weather conditions allow it, the winter season should start before the holidays. First of all, it is planned to open the bottom of the Radeševo track with the conveyor belt and the Baby track, for the youngest visitors and beginner skiers.

Despite rising costs in many business segments, ski and sled ticket prices remain at last year's level, which, along with good traffic connections, is another reason why Platak remains the most accessible ski resort in the region, attracting families, recreationists and athletes from the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and beyond.

"Platak is not just a ski resort, but a real winter oasis for all generations and different forms of recreation", points out the director of the Goran sports center Ivan Stojanovic, emphasizing that in addition to skiing, visitors to Platak can try their hand at Nordic skiing and walking, hiking, and enjoy the well-maintained toboggan runs, walkways, and catering facilities. And when there is no natural snow, enjoyment in Platak will be possible thanks to the technology of artificial snow production. In addition, the GSC says that preparations are underway for attractive winter events that will complement the Platak offer.

Platak owes its popularity to the unique combination of sea and mountains, which makes it an indispensable destination for all nature and recreation lovers. With affordable prices, easy access and a quality offer, Platak will undoubtedly be a favorite destination for winter recreation this winter as well.
