From the direction of Zagreb
If you are coming to Platak from the Zagreb direction by highway, after the toll booths at the Rijeka-Grobnik exit, leave the expressway and take the D3 state road in the direction of Zagreb. After a few kilometers, there is a turnoff towards Platak, which will be on the left and is well marked.

From the direction of Rijeka
If you are coming to Platak from the direction of Rijeka, before the toll booths for the Rijeka – Zagreb motorway, you need to leave the expressway and turn right at the intersection, and then take the state road D3 in the direction of Zagreb. The turnoff for Platak will be on the left.

Roads and parking lots
From the D3 state road junction (the old road to Zagreb) to Platak, there is a 9-kilometer two-way road that is regularly cleaned and maintained. The main parking lot in Platak is paved with a capacity of about 500 parking spaces, with an additional unpaved area that also serves as a parking lot for numerous skiers and sledders on winter weekends.
