By entering into force of the Act on Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia, the Goran sports center will, after carrying out accessibility testing, publish on these pages a Statement on the accessibility of its online headquarters and applications related to services and projects, their compliance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102, and enable the provision of user feedback for the further improvement of online accessibility .
Overview
The website www.platak.hr strives to ensure the accessibility of its services for people with disabilities. Considerable resources have been invested to simplify the use of the site with the aim of making it more accessible for people with disabilities, in the firm belief that every person has the right to a dignified, equal, comfortable and independent life.
The Goran sports center recognizes the importance of ensuring digital accessibility for all users, with a special emphasis on easier access to services and information for people with disabilities, applying, to the greatest extent possible, Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council of October 26, 2016 on accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies.
The Goran sports center continuously improves the user experience by applying relevant accessibility standards according to the guidelines and standardization of online content (WCAG 2.1) of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), an organization that deals with the standardization of online technologies.

As a public sector body, the Goran Sports Center strives to make its website www.platak.hr accessible in accordance with the Law on Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 17/19), dated September 23, 2019 ., which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies into national legislation.
Degree of compliance
The website www.platak.hr complies with the Law on Accessibility of Websites and Software Solutions for Mobile Devices of Public Sector Bodies. With the implementation of the new CMS platform and the redesign of the website in 2020. most of the requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 V1.1.2 (2015-04) are met, but with some exceptions.

The content listed below is inaccessible for the following reasons:
Accessibility of PDF documents for visually impaired people
Some PDF files contained in the posts were not entirely created by exporting from the source file from the Microsoft Office Word tool with accessibility options selected, but by scanning printed documents. These are minutes of the Supervisory Board or company reports, public tenders and public procurements that are not accessible because they are not properly prepared for screen readers.
Raising the level of accessibility
Goran sports center will implement corrective measures to solve the problem of inaccessible content of its online headquarters to the maximum extent possible.

This Statement was prepared on September 11, 2020, in accordance with the Template Statement on Accessibility, which is in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies, and was determined by the Implementing Decision of the EU Commission 2018/1523 October 11, 2018
For the preparation of this Statement, the self-assessment method carried out by the public sector body and the accessibility testing methods WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool and WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool were used.
